About
Matt is a Partner at SAX specializing in tax and accounting services for clients in the construction, real estate, and consumer and industrial products industries. He advises clients on a range of matters including audits, reviews, and compilations, with a focus on strategic tax planning, cash flow management, and delivering practical guidance that supports informed business decision-making.
Matt works closely with business owners to address banking and bonding requirements, helping clients navigate lender expectations and financial reporting with confidence. His collaborative approach and industry-specific insight allow him to provide solutions tailored to each client’s operational and financial needs.
In addition to client service, Matt is actively involved in training and mentoring staff, with a strong focus on developing technical skills, professional judgment, and a client-first mindset. Having been with the firm for nearly a decade, he brings deep institutional knowledge and a long-term perspective to both client relationships and team development.
Outside of work, Matt is married with one child and enjoys staying active through soccer and tennis, a longtime passion dating back to his collegiate tennis career at Ramapo College.
