About
Laura is an International Business Advisor with more than 20 years of experience advising start-ups, business owners, and foreign direct investment (FDI) clients. She specializes in connecting people to resources, enabling companies to grow and expand across national borders, while reducing time-to-market and increasing the chances of success.
Before joining SAX, Laura consulted with RSM US LLP clients and partners on strategic international engagements as part of the Private Client Services Leadership Team, collaborating with clients to define tailored solutions around complex, global opportunities.
In her role as a change management and technology consultant, prior to RSM US LLP, Laura worked with a global banking regulator in Switzerland and defined enhanced security processes at a leading Dutch payment processing company. While working at the Consulate of the United Kingdom, Laura focused on foreign direct investment.
Earlier in her career, as a European internal auditor and finance manager with a major multinational company, Laura mitigated risk and ensured compliance in European and African subsidiaries. She also managed a large-scale ERP implementation at a green-field manufacturing site in Poland.
For many years, Laura led cross-cultural training sessions with C-level executives for the major relocation companies. She has also taught at DePaul University in the Department of Management. Laura speaks German, French, and Dutch.
