About
Joseph Albano, CPA is a Partner in SAX’s Nonprofit Practice. Joe is responsible for coordinating and conducting audits of nonprofits including, but not limited to, social service organizations, membership organizations, arts and culture institutions, schools, and grant-making foundations. He has worked exclusively with the nonprofit industry for over 20 years. In that time, Joe has developed long term relationships with his clients as he’s advised them on accounting principles, best practices, and ways to improve their internal controls. He has also presented on industry matters for various membership and social service nonprofits and in-house presentations for the staff of nonprofit organizations.
Outside of work, Joe serves as a board advisor for a social service organization and other small nonprofits.
Joe is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.
