About
Prior to joining SAX in 2026, Gary was the Founder and Managing Partner of CoMetrics Partners. With more than 30 years of consulting experience, Gary specializes in working with middle market consumer product companies to synergize operations, finance and IT to drive efficiencies and profits.
After graduating Beta Alpha Psi from Syracuse University, Gary began his career at Mahoney Cohen & Company where he served as President from 1997 to 2005. Gary’s leadership helping grow the firm into one of the largest accounting and professional services firms in the United States prior to its sale to CBIZ Inc. (NYSE: CBZ).
Gary has been at the forefront in developing proprietary software specific for consumer product companies. He developed a Supply Chain/Cargo Management software solution, which was acquired by All-Ways Forwarding in 2018. He later developed DataMetrics, an analytic platform used by both consumer product companies and Lenders to gain real-time visibility and make data driven decisions.
Gary is also active in several professional and philanthropic organizations. He previously served as Chairman of the Organization for Rehabilitation through Training (ORT) Finance Chapter and on the Board of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Finance Chapter. He also spent 10 years on both the Syracuse University School of Management Accounting Advisory Board and the Exceed Network.
