About
Chris is a Partner in the Tax Department of SAX with 13 years of tax experience providing tax planning, consulting, and compliance services to closely held businesses, private equity portfolio companies, and high-net-worth individuals. He works with clients across a wide range of industries including manufacturing and distribution, professional services, and construction and real estate.
Within the firm, Chris is sought for his expertise in partnership taxation, advising clients on formation, mergers and acquisitions, capital account maintenance, income allocations, and tax-efficient exit strategies. He also leads tax engagements in transaction advisory services including tax due diligence and structuring buy- and sell-side transactions.
Chris is a Certified Public Accountant in Michigan. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children, golfing, and is an avid Detroit and Michigan State sports fan.
